The Mask Dance is a ritual mime of the creation and natural evolution of all living things. As the birth giving, life giving, nourishing Mother, she warns us of the delicate balance in Nature which, if disturbed, could destroy Life on this Earth.

Greetings

I am the Earth Mother

The seed is in me

I grow big

In labor

I give birth to you and

nurse you

Come to me

Come to me

I love you

I am the Earth Mother

But…

If you do not honor me

You will cause your own destruction

When I cry, the sky cries

When I laugh the Earth laughs

All things come through me

My power is great

Listen . . .

Be tranquil

Plant seeds

Nourish life

See the Dance
