The barren calcareous soils and the cool microclimate of southern Styria give the wine a taut, mineral style with plenty of tension and depth. As a 1STK site, Kriewetz stands for clear origin character and a particularly precise interpretation of Southern Styrian Chardonnay. The 2021 vintage produced exceptionally focused and elegant wines.
